Originally, youtube allowed users to upload 10 minutes of contents for each video. Now, people can upload 2.5 hours PER video!
This is wonderful, because people are going to be putting on longer, more creative videos!
In addition, people, who make independent movies and shows, will have a platform to show everyone.

The internet is saying that youtube might be running “Pay Per View” on their website… Interesting, but I still like to watch youtubers make movies since they are creative and wide ranging…

This is going to get younger children interested in 3-D movies!
Justin Bieber, the 16 year old pop star and soon-to-be author, is teaming up with Davis Guggenheim to make a movie about Justin Bieber’s life… Davis Guggenheim is an oscar-winning director who made An Inconvenient Truth.
This movie will NOT be documentary nor a behind the scenes film. It will be a scripted movie. It should contain his youtube performances (ie, youtube is going to LOVE the movie and a lot more musicians are going to upload their music to youutbe).

“and this one: for the petit french improv! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-pRJE3kTGw” ~Lady Gaga’s tweet.
I wonder how many hits this video is going to get because Lady Gaga tweeted it!
EARLIER she tweeted:
“Walkin down memory lane with dancers
, after many shots + streams we decide this is our fav. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7G0yI46vfeY” -

Before the internet, in order to voice one’s opinion, people started underground papers or pirate radios. However, it was difficult to do because (1) a person needed to be very smart (ie, be a writer), (2) have great managing skills (be an editor), (3) be a good boss (get people to write articles, and correctly pick the correct ones) and (4) it costed money (broadcasting equipment used to costs thousands of dollars). Then, you had to have an audience. For underground papers, it was delivering them to people and for pirate radios, it was getting people to listen to the station.
