Bored to Death’s season two is premiering tonight on HBO at 10 PM. It stars Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis.
Jonathan Ames created the series about a person who is “bored” with his life. So, he poses as detective using craigslist to post his services. His best friend is played by Zach Galifianakis, and his boss is played by Ted Danson. The trio have created wonderful characters, and the episodes follow many shenanigans.
Hollywoodchicago’s Patrick McDonald wrote a great article about the series.

This hbo link is about the behind the scenes.
Entourage’s Kevin Connolly directed seven episodes of this season’s show. I think, he did a wonderful job, and hopes he will direct more!
. In this hbo beind the scene scene, Kevin Connolly said it was difficult to have a fresh look. They build off. Jeremy Piven, who does a superb job as Ari, said “he is challenged everyday”. Kevin Dillion, one of our favorite actors on the show, said it was the best season. And, that was an amazing cliff hanger. We will not ruin it for you if you did not see it. (If you have NOT seen it, you must watch it!) -

Martin Scorsese is the producer for HBO’s “Broadway Empire” about the Atlantic City prohibition. He said that he would love the opporunity to direct if he had the chance.
It would be great to see episodes directed by Martin Scorsese: D’uh! He is one of the most talented directors, and has made many blockbuster. Also, since his films have been about criminals and had dark undertones, he’ll be interesting to see creative views on the era.
Looking forward to seeing the series, Martin Scorsese.
