I think, Tobey Maguire was (and will be) the best spiderman. He developed the character very well and was spiderman for three movies. Hence, he will be associated with spiderman.

3. Original name was Curtis Connors.
4. Curtis Connors was a surgeon who was fascinated with Reptiles.
5. Connors made a mix of serum with reptilian DNA. He injected it into himself. hence, becoming the lizard.
6. Powers: “healing factor, very strong strength, telepathic control over reptiles, great agility to leap great lengths, great hand to hand fighting skills” etc
