I have read Rich Dad, Poor Dad many times throughout the past several years. It has many interesting arguments and having owned several websites, I believe, he OVERSIMPILIFIED the way to become rich.
According to Rich Dad, Poor Dad, the short answer is, the way to become rich is to open a business. He believes the majority of people work as employees and are a slave to the paycheck. However, when a person opens a business, the business can become successful and the owner will make money. Hence, the owner does not work from pay check to pay check.

I’m listening to Bruce Springsteen’s The River, about a narrator troubled life due to an unwanted pregancy and “ain’t been much work on account of the economy.” Many people can relate to this line due to the today’s high rates of unemployment.
Later in the song, the narrator asks the audience, “Is a dream a lie if it don’t come true, Or is it something worse.”
